This often means getting back to your roots, and taking time to nourish your body, mind + spirit  by branching out to all avenues of wellness. These include, but are not limited to, Nutrition, Physical Activity, Meditation, Yoga, Aromatherapy, Reducing Toxin Exposure + Stress, Clean Living and always being open to learning new things about your health. I am dedicated to empowering you with the knowledge to bring positive change to your health + life! 

Hi I'm Natalie!  I  am pleased to e-meet you!

I'm so glad you have found your way here! So you can get to know me a bit, I'll share some of my story and the loves of my life.  I’m a Holistic Nutritionist & Founder of The Holistic Tree. I help Men & Women lose weight & gain control of their health by showing them a SIMPLE way of eating through Meal Planning & Smarter Weight Loss. This method helps put an end to cravings and having to rely on “willpower” alone, and instead empowers you with the skills you need to keep weight off long term and prevent disease. 

 

My Mission is to teach you a better method for weight loss and to help you finally feel in control of your health and weight. When I was struggling so hard to lose weight and suffering from digestive issues I thought it was my fault and that I didn't have the willpower to avoid the foods I craved. It was difficult and "eating healthy" didn't produce the results I really wanted. I was tired of dieting. I wanted to feel like my best self in my body and mind.  

I decided to get smart about food and balance. Finding the answers to why eating healthy felt so hard and didn't always lend results was my mission. Learning about hormones and how the foods we eat, the products we use in our home and on our skin, and our environment affect our hormones was a huge light bulb moment for me. Its all related. The results came when I started eating to balance hormones, cleaning up the products I put on my body, and working on my mindset. This is what I can help you with and it is my dream to do so!

Since learning this, I have helped many clients achieve their health and weight loss goals while working as a Personal Trainer, Fitness Instructor and Holistic Nutrition Coach. I have also taught at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition on the topics of Sports Nutrition, Preventative Nutrition, Aromatherapy and Essential Oils and Nutrition Literature Research. 

 

Currently, I am the Director of Communication & Wellness at HD Recruitment in Calgary AB. I encourage candidates to put their best foot forward in their job search by providing wellness initiatives that educate them on health and self development. I also deliver Corporate Wellness Seminars to clients to elevate the health of their employees for a positive, happy, productive work environment. I also continue to run The Holistic Tree online.
 

When I'm not helping people crush their health and weight loss goals I love to go hiking in the mountains with my fiancee and our dog copper, cook up delicious high vibe foods in our kitch, go record shopping, camping, and teach essential oil classes. Oh and sometimes I bring my dog to the office annnnd we also have two crazy cats (Zane & Motzie)! 

 

If you are interested in the whole "letters behind your name thing", I graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Food and Nutrition Science from Western University and received my designation of Holistic Nutritional Consultant from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition in London, Ontario. 

 

My passion is running group weight loss programs for my community. There is such a fun, inspiring energy working with a group!
